About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Captain for an operation at KVNY airport. The role involves safely operating the aircraft and meeting clients’ travel needs while upholding Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity. The captain must be available on an on-call basis and live within a two-hour drive of KVNY or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours MEL.
• 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G650ER safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
