About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a guitar teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The teacher will provide lessons to students of varied ages and skill levels, support their musical growth, and build positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates. The role partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on guitar.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience on related instruments.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
