About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled guitar educator to teach and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, while helping them grow as musicians. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on guitar.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching related instruments.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
