About The Position

Capgemini is hiring a Guidewire Developer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud and external systems, and to customize PolicyCenter applications. The role includes working with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions, support deployments and production operations, and provide technical guidance to junior developers. The position is listed for NY, Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least six years of software development experience, at least four years of Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud integration development experience, and at least three years of Guidewire Cloud Platform implementation experience. Strong Gosu, API, web services, messaging, enterprise integration, and P&C insurance domain expertise are required. The posted base compensation range is $120,000–$140,000 per annum. Regular full-time employees may be eligible for benefits based on local policy and eligibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Integration development experience.
• 3+ years of Guidewire Cloud Platform implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in Gosu, REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to middleware and cloud integration technologies.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise integration projects within the P&C Insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud and external systems.
• Build REST APIs, event-driven integrations, batch interfaces, and web service integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Develop and customize PolicyCenter applications using Gosu, business rules, workflows, PCF configurations, plugins, and extensions.
• Collaborate with architects to design scalable cloud-based integration solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Guidewire Cloud deployments, and production issue resolution.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance.
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
