We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Business Analyst with strong expertise in Commercial Lines Insurance and Guidewire Rating. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, underwriting teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and support PolicyCenter implementations and enhancements.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, upgrades, or support projects.
• Good knowledge of Product Model, Policy Lifecycle, Underwriting Rules, Rating Framework, and Forms.
• Expertise in Commercial Lines Insurance products such as Commercial Auto, Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, and BOP.
• Strong understanding of insurance rating concepts, premium calculations, rating variables, discounts, and surcharges.
• Experience with BRD/FSD creation, stakeholder management, process mapping, and defect analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Nice To Haves

• Guidewire PolicyCenter Certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Rating Management and integrations/APIs.
• Exposure to BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Insurance certifications (CPCU, AINS, or equivalent) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Commercial Lines insurance products.
• Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation, configuration, and enhancement activities.
• Analyze rating requirements, premium calculation logic, and rating workflows.
• Work with architects and developers on rating solution design and validation.
• Support product modeling, underwriting rules, coverages, forms, and rating structures.
• Participate in workshops, gap analysis, solution design, SIT/UAT, and production support.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and coordinate with QA for testing activities.
