Requirements

• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Expertise in Commercial Lines Insurance.
• Strong understanding of: Product Model, Policy Lifecycle (Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Endorsement, Cancellation), Underwriting Rules, Rating Framework, Forms & Documents
• Experience with insurance rating concepts: Premium Calculation, Rate Books, Rating Variables, Coverages & Modifiers, Discounts & Surcharges
• Business Analysis experience including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process mapping, and defect triage.

Nice To Haves

• Guidewire PolicyCenter Certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and web services.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Insurance certifications such as CPCU or AINS.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Commercial Lines insurance products.
• Work with business stakeholders, underwriters, product owners, and development teams to define functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, enhancements, and rating solutions.
• Analyze rating requirements including premium calculations, rate books, modifiers, discounts, and surcharges.
• Participate in product modeling activities covering coverages, forms, jurisdictions, and rating structures.
• Support SIT, UAT, production validation, and defect analysis.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with QA and development teams.
