About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Business Analyst with hands-on experience across Guidewire products and a strong understanding of the P&C insurance domain. This is a hybrid role, primarily focused on business analysis (75%), with additional responsibilities in project coordination and delivery (25%). The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging business requirements with technical execution while ensuring smooth project delivery within a dynamic Professional Services environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire projects
  • Mandatory experience with Guidewire Products & Portfolio (Professional Services)
  • Proven hands-on experience with at least one: Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, or Guidewire ClaimCenter
  • Strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project coordination or Project Management responsibilities
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Guidewire certifications(Associate/Professional) are an advantage
  • Ability to work in client-facing roles within Professional Services environments

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Guidewire implementations
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear system solutions
  • Create user stories, functional specifications, and process workflows
  • Support implementations of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Participate in UAT activities, including validation, defect tracking, and issue resolution
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and system functionality
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution of Guidewire initiatives
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Provide regular project status updates, highlighting risks and mitigation plans
  • Ensure project activities align with defined scope, timelines, and goals
