About The Position
Sentradel is a defense startup in San Francisco building autonomous, low cost kinetic turret systems designed to defeat Group 1 (small FPV drones) and low flying Group 2 drone threats. We have shot down dozens of drones in live fire testing, have active Department of War agreements, commercial partnerships, and sales. This role is responsible for gimbal control, state estimation, and target leading for the turret.
Requirements
- Built closed loop control systems with a strong understanding of classical controls and state estimation
- Experience with ROS
- C++ experience
- Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR (22 CFR 120.62): a US citizen, US lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or a protected individual such as a refugee or asylee.
Responsibilities
- Design and tune closed loop control for the gimbal
- Build state estimation and target leading
