Housekeeping Guestroom Attendant
About The Position
The Guestroom Attendant is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and amenities are properly cleaned, polished, dusted, and supplied daily, according to Four Seasons standards of service. This role involves making beds, changing sheets, vacuuming, emptying trash, providing turndown service, handling lost and found items, and cleaning various areas of the resort. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This is a full-time, permanent role for someone seeking a long-term career in hospitality.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Basic English level
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check.
- Flexibility in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
- Ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight shifts.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- On the job training is provided.
- Interested in growing a career in hospitality seeking a long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all guest rooms and amenities have been properly cleaned, polished, dusted, sanitized, and supplied daily, according to Four Seasons standards of service.
- Making beds, changing sheets, and vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Picking up debris and emptying trash containers.
- Providing turndown service, where the guests are lightly refreshed for the evening.
- Handling and reporting any lost and found items.
- Providing clean towels and toiletries for guests.
- Cleaning and disinfecting Resort elevators.
- Properly handling “Do Not Disturb” and Guest requests as well as any call backs.
- Providing guests with basic information on the facility and the amenities available.
- Cleaning changing rooms and showers.
- Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
