About The Position

As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the first and last impression for guests, many of whom are staying for extended periods. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rapport, anticipating needs, and delivering service that feels personal. Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to connect with guests staying one night or multiple nights or weeks.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a dynamic front desk environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel systems (FOSSE or other PMS) is a plus.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team focused.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a "home away from home" experience.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out according to Marriott brand standards.
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
  • Promote and enroll guests in Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
  • Respond to guest concerns with urgency and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and complete end of shift balancing and deposits.
  • Support extended stay needs (directions to local services, amenities, and community style offerings).
