About The Position
Represent HPUREC with a positive, enthusiastic attitude while performing essential job duties within the recreation area. Students will gain transferable job skills applicable in the real world through their HPUREC employment experience such as leadership, communication, and persuasive skills.
Requirements
- Strong communicators with knowledge of how a fitness center and surrounding areas work on a daily basis.
Nice To Haves
- Must have a minimum (2.8) overall GPA
- Strong Communication skills
- Possess Leadership skills
- Maintain positive attitude
- Able to work 10-20 hours per week, flexible hours
Responsibilities
- Provide students access to facilities via card swipe
- Distribute equipment for short and long term check out
- Communicate all HPUREC related activities via telephone and in-person
- Enhance the area in and around the fitness center
- Other duties as assigned
