Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with Guest Services experience considered an asset.
  • A friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest needs with confidence and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Valid Smart Serve certification required.
  • A clean criminal background check and a commitment to maintaining guest confidentiality and hotel security standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a college or university program in Hospitality Management is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Hotel PMS is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional approach while assisting with check-ins, check-outs, requests, and inquiries throughout their stay.
  • Handle reservations, room allocations, guest profiles, payments, and administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy and protecting guest privacy.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, events, and local attractions while maintaining strong knowledge of room options, rates, and availability.
  • Complete guest transactions, manage daily cash procedures, process charges, and maintain the security of guest keys and hotel records.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to communicate updates, coordinate room availability, and ensure guest needs are met.
  • Listen to and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, creating positive solutions that enhance their experience.
  • Represent the hotel with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
  • Assist with overall hotel operations through cross-training opportunities, supporting other departments, and completing additional responsibilities as required.
