About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Guest Services Agent for the Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, a 143-room hotel with meeting space and two dining outlets. The agent creates a memorable first impression, warmly welcomes guests, assists with luggage, and shares information about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area. The role includes escorting and orienting guests to the front desk and their rooms, parking and retrieving vehicles when requested, and working with other attendants to provide personalized service. The agent also helps keep the entrance area clean and organized and is expected to go beyond routine service to make a positive difference for guests and employees.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a customer service role with substantial guest interaction.
• Valid driver's license with no major infractions for the previous six months.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Pleasant and helpful personality with an outgoing, engaging manner.
• Strong desire to make a positive impact on others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work a full shift standing and moving between the valet lot and different areas of the hotel.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide engaging, sincere customer service.
• Open vehicle doors for arriving guests and escort them to the front desk for check-in.
• Assist guests with unloading and carrying luggage, and escort them to their rooms.
• Explain hotel amenities and share useful information and facts about the property.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles upon request.
• Coordinate with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences and open doors for guests.
• Assist the lobby attendant with keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
• Provide helpful service to guests and employees beyond the ordinary expectations of the role.
