This position is responsible for anticipating guest needs, providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and exceed their expectations, while adhering to the company’s standards of quality and professionalism. The representative will anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner, providing the highest level of service. Key duties include processing check-ins and check-outs, verifying billing, creating reservations, and handling special requests. The role also involves assisting guests with information about the hotel property, local attractions, and hotel services, working as a team player, and following company guest service recovery programs. Additionally, the representative will utilize proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues, monitor room availability, follow booking policies, and drive sales through up-selling rooms and amenities. Financial responsibilities include handling cash and processing transactions according to company procedures, and ensuring proper use of equipment while adhering to cost controls. The role requires producing the required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties, adhering to company general work rules, department procedures, and company policies, attending all required department and hotel meetings, maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with regulations, following all company procedures for guest/associate incidents, and being knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
