About The Position

Homewood Suites by Hilton/Orlando-Nearest Universal Studios is seeking a Full-Time Guest Service Representative to join their Front Desk Team. As a Universal™ Partner Hotel, the property is located minutes from Universal Orlando Resort™ and offers free scheduled shuttle passes to the park. This extended stay hotel features 122 guest suites, complimentary hot breakfast daily, and an evening social on Wednesdays. The Guest Service Representative is the primary point of contact for guests, responsible for providing superior service throughout their stay.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must dress in professional attire.
• Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and completing the check-in/check-out procedure using the Property Management System.
• Obtaining and storing pertinent guest information.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods.
• Identifying guest needs and providing relevant information about hotel services and amenities.
• Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from callers and inputting all information into the hotel management system.
• Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
