About The Position
Homewood Suites by Hilton/Orlando-Nearest Universal Studios is seeking a Full Time Guest Service Representative to join their Front Desk Team. As a Universal™ Partner Hotel, located minutes from Orlando fun and one mile from Universal Orlando Resort™, this role offers free scheduled shuttle passes to the park. The hotel is an extended stay property with 122 guest suites, offering complimentary breakfast daily and an evening social on Wednesdays. The Guest Service Representative is the primary point of contact for guests, responsible for providing superior service throughout their stay.
Requirements
- Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
- Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Hilton brand knowledge is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and completing the check-in/check-out procedure using the Property Management System.
- Obtaining and storing pertinent guest information.
- Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
- Identifying guest needs and providing relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities.
- Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Taking reservations from incoming callers and inputting all information into the hotel management system.
- Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
- Dressing in professional attire.
