About The Position

High Hotels Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Guest Services Representative to positively represent the hotel by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure. This role also involves operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions. The position requires flexibility to work a mixture of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm shifts on varying days, including weekends. A $1/hr. shift premium is offered for weekend work. The starting rate is $15.41/hr., with potential for increase based on experience.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations.
  • Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests.
  • Providing information on the local area and points of interest.
  • Assisting guests with arrivals and departures.
  • Answering front desk phone.
  • Cash handling.
