Full Time Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor

Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations
- In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations
- Minimum of High School education
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities
- Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
- Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
- Escorts VIPs to room and checks them in prior to arrival.
- Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and answers questions accordingly or transfers as needed.
- Responsible for issued bank. Counts bank at beginning and end of shift. Ensures all cash drops are done in accordance with proper cash handling procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management.
- Keeps front desk area clean and organized.
- Assists with lobby activation as needed.
- Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
- Follows checklist when going through check-in or check-out with guest. Always retrieves necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival.
- Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
- Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
- Cross-trains as a fill-in Night Auditor when coverage is needed, which involves working overnight from 11 pm to 7 am.
