The Guest Service Representative/Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, completing the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information. This role handles cash, credit card information, and goods at the property. The representative identifies the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment. They also take reservations from incoming callers, providing excellence in service and inputting all information into the hotel management system, and update/cancel reservations as requested. The role requires professional attire and flexibility to work various shifts, including afternoons, weekends, and holidays, with training for morning and Night Audit shifts also provided.
