About The Position

Responsible for promoting the success of the Player’s Club, by assisting customers through the membership process, and explaining the benefits of membership. This role involves maintaining a working knowledge of various programs, promotions, and property events to effectively assist customers and fellow employees. The Guest Service Rep also supports promotions, resolves minor customer conflicts related to the Player's Club, and ensures the cleanliness of service areas.

Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills.
  • At least 1 year of computer experience.
  • At least 1 year customer service experience.
  • A proven work record is required.
  • Six months money handling experience required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Must meet minimum criminal background requirements to obtain a gaming license as stated in Menominee Tribal Code Chapter 347 and the Tribal Gaming Compact.
  • Hiring in Gaming Position is contingent upon criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the five service expectations: Smile & Greet, Name & Meet, Listen & Act, Ask, Ask, Ask, Thank you, Good Bye, Good Luck.
  • Distribute Player’s Club membership information and assist customers in completing sign-ups.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Player’s Club programs, daily and monthly promotions, and direct mail programs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Box Office and work in the Box Office as needed.
  • Provide smooth, courteous, and efficient service to customers, using their name regularly, wishing them good luck, offering appreciation, and inviting them back.
  • Take part in making daily promotion announcements, announcing bus departures, and special greetings to special guests.
  • Assist the Guest Service Supervisor, Guest Service Lead, and Entertainment and Promotions Coordinator in conducting promotions.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events, to advise customers and fellow Employees.
  • Assist Shift Managers and Casino Hosts with Player’s Club related matters as needed.
  • Assist in player development strategies as required by supervisor.
  • Facilitate the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
  • Resolve minor customer conflicts related to Player’s Club.
  • Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Routinely inspect stock of Player’s Club printed material and restock as needed.
  • Issue complimentaries for customers when appropriate level of authority and play has been established.
  • Routinely inspect the VIP Maple Room for cleanliness and clean as needed.
  • Routinely inspect the Box Office and Guest Service booth and clean as needed.
  • Perform any duties as required by supervisor.
