About The Position

The Guest Service Cashier is the first point of contact for guests at Stinker stores. This role welcomes customers, answers questions, makes recommendations, completes transactions, stocks merchandise, and helps keep the store clean and inviting. The position is part time, scheduled for 8–29 hours per week, with open availability required. Days and times may vary and may include weekends, evenings, and some holidays. The listed location is 3110 North-South HWY, Lewiston, ID 83501. Starting pay is based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old.
Able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 pounds, and work from floor to eye level.
Able to work in a cooler or freezer that may be as cold as 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
Solution-focused thinking and problem-solving ability.
Ability to learn new concepts, stay organized, maintain attention to detail, and multitask.
Effective time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment, assist customers with their needs, and answer questions.
Process cash and credit transactions accurately and complete customer purchases.
Clean and tidy restrooms, cooler interiors and exteriors, parking lots, fuel islands, equipment, food service areas, shelves, and storage areas.
Keep parking lots and interior floors free of debris and spills.
Follow the Safety Manual, promptly report incidents, and use appropriate safety signage when needed.
Stock and face merchandise and maintain accurate pricing.
