About The Position

The Guest Service Cashier welcomes guests, provides helpful service, and supports the day-to-day operation of a Stinker convenience store. The role assists guests with purchases and questions, processes payments, prepares food and beverages, stocks and prices merchandise, and helps maintain clean, safe, and inviting store areas. The position is full-time, scheduled for graveyard overnights, with days and times that may vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
Ability to safely use step stools or ladders and work from floor to eye level.
Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments as cold as 0°F.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering positive guest experiences.
Ability to learn, stay organized, manage time, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
Effective, respectful communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful service; assist with purchases, answer questions, and offer product recommendations.
Accurately process cash, credit, and other payment transactions.
Prepare fresh food and beverages while following food safety and quality standards.
Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; maintain attractive displays, accurate pricing, and product availability.
Clean and maintain the sales floor, restrooms, food service areas, coolers, fuel islands, equipment, storage areas, and parking lot.
Keep floors and other areas free of debris and spills.
Follow company safety procedures, use safety signage when needed, and promptly report safety concerns or incidents.
Work with the team to support smooth daily store operations and take on additional store responsibilities as business needs require.
