The Guest Service Attendant is responsible for certain duties including, but not limited to, interacting with customers, helping with game play, assisting with food and beverage activities and other related responsibilities. This role provides outstanding customer service and effectively communicates with patrons and co-workers, demonstrating the ability to establish effective working relationships. The attendant will assist with the overall upkeep of facilities, provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning, and assist in educating players regarding the game and directing play when necessary. The position also involves maintaining golf club rentals, including accurate records of golfers renting clubs and services provided. The attendant will greet everyone and proactively approach customers to support their experience, perform opening and closing procedures, and be responsible for the accountability of all Member and Guest sales transactions. Additionally, they will assist with rotating merchandise inventory, keeping displays clean and orderly, and assist with food and beverage activities when necessary. The role requires the ability to work independently, possesses an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes, and demonstrates the ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances. Incorporating safe work practices in job performance and assisting as needed with member events are also key aspects of this role.
