The Guest Service Aide is responsible for greeting and escorting guests to rooms, opening doors, and assisting guests entering and leaving the property. The aide will also explain room features, transport guest luggage, assist with luggage storage and retrieval, and help guests in and out of vehicles. Additionally, they will provide directions, arrange transportation, and communicate parking procedures. The position requires adherence to company policies, reporting accidents, maintaining awareness of security, and ensuring professional appearance and confidentiality. A key aspect of the role is welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to develop positive working relationships are essential. The role also involves performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
