About The Position

The Guest Service Agent is the welcoming face of Dellshire Resort, responsible for creating a warm and inviting first impression for every guest. This position ensures an exceptional arrival and departure experience while efficiently managing guest inquiries, reservations, and requests. In addition to front desk operations, the Guest Service Agent supports bell and concierge-style services, assisting with luggage coordination, guest orientation, and personalized recommendations to enhance each guest’s stay. This role plays a key part in upholding the resort’s service standards and delivering memorable, guest-focused experiences throughout the visit.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer and administrative skills; experience with property management systems (such as Opera or similar) preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality.
  • Check guests in and out of the resort accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the property management system.
  • Provide detailed information about resort amenities, dining options, and local attractions.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns or requests, following up to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Handle payment transactions, verify billing accuracy, and process cash or credit card payments.
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a well-organized and tidy front desk area, ensuring materials and supplies are stocked.
  • Adhere to all security and privacy policies to protect guest information and resort assets.
  • Uphold Dellshire Resort’s values of exceptional guest service, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.
  • Assist with coordinating luggage support, directions, and guest orientation upon arrival and departure as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of lobby flow and guest movement to proactively help and support a smooth arrival experience.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for dining, resort amenities, entertainment, and local attractions based on guest preferences.
  • Assist guests with special requests, celebrations, reservations, and itinerary planning to enhance their overall stay experience.
