The core mission of the Front Desk Agent is to ensure all guests enjoy a friendly arrival and departure experience, while addressing all needs and requests in a timely, efficient and hospitable manner. The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This involves greeting guests happily, using their names, ensuring guest satisfaction, handling challenging situations with hospitality, possessing strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities, being aware of events, understanding relevant technology, and maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Cleanliness is a team effort, requiring all team members to pitch in to maintain sparkling clean workspaces and hospitality while cleaning. Product consistency and quality are maintained through accurate completion of operational checklists and accurate, on-time shift handover reports. Teamwork is essential, requiring clear, honest, and professional communication, a can-do attitude, and collaboration to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace.
