The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to provide extraordinary and personalized service to guests. Requirements

1+ years of hospitality experience.
Professional phone etiquette, writing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
Highly creative, with strong interpersonal skills!

Responsibilities

Check-in and check-out all guests in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Handle simple to complex calculations including credit cards and cash.
Greet and assist guests with directions to their room, meeting or event.
Entertain questions from guests and respond with appropriate and accurate information on topics such as outlet hours, local attractions, directions to events, etc.
Field guest complaints, conduct thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results.
Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating or air conditioning, etc.
Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy resort activity.
Plan and implement detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
Maintain appearance of resort lobby, remove trash, organize furniture, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
