About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards. This role involves maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all safety and security procedures. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and involves completing additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Reports any maintenance deficiencies.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
