About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, handling guest requests and complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The position requires adherence to all house and safety rules, as well as housekeeping and security procedures. The attendant will also complete additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled, and perform other duties as assigned. This is an opening team position at the new Compass Hotel by Margaritaville in Beaufort, NC.

Requirements

Minimum one year cleaning experience
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.
Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
