About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards, maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness, and handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. This role also involves observing all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures. The attendant will return and restock their cart at the end of the shift and complete additional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies.
  • Handle guest requests or complaints.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.

  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
