About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the standards of quality and cleanliness throughout their daily assignments. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures. The attendant will also complete additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Reports any maintenance deficiencies.
  • Handles guest requests or complaints.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
