About The Position

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain rooms within the hotel. This role involves making beds, replenishing supplies, vacuuming, dusting, washing surfaces, and emptying wastebaskets to ensure rooms are clean and accommodating for guests, meeting departmental and company standards. The position also requires interacting with guests in a friendly manner, effective communication with staff and other departments, safeguarding company assets, and adhering to all policies and procedures set by the department, company, and gaming commissions. Additionally, it involves monitoring the casino environment for safety and working effectively as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction and asset protection. Punctuality, professional attire, and personal cleanliness are expected.

Requirements

Entry-level position.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
Must be flexible with shift and days off.
Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
Must be confidential.

Responsibilities

Makes beds in a manner which meets department and company standards.
Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, amenities, etc.
Cleans hotel rooms in a manner which accommodates our guests and meets departmental and company standards
Vacuums the carpet in hotel rooms and cleans vacuum at the end of each work day.
Dusts furniture and polishes metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
Washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties and cleans wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes restroom supplies.
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
