This Guest Relation position requires superior communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit proper telephone etiquette. Be able to complete reception routine accurately identifying patients with multiple means of identifiers. Presentable and well-mannered. Genuine care for growth and improvement. Bilingual required must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently. The Guest Relations Rep. responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome. The person filling position must have a passion for guest service and ensure that guest and patients are kept updated of wait time (if necessary), observes and respect the privacy and confidentiality of patient while maintaining professionalism and a smile at all times. The Guest Relations Rep is key to being able to assist with information and to alleviate any anxiety or frustration that people may experience as they enter HUMC. This position requires extraordinary customer service skills and pay close attention to detail and commitment to teamwork. Because the Guest Relations Rep is the customer’s initial contact with HUMC he/she must at all times convey and optimistic, devoted and constructive image of HUMC.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • Bilingual required (English and Spanish fluently)
  • Basic computer knowledge & typing/keyboard skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be presentable and well-mannered.
  • Genuine care for growth and improvement.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Commitment to teamwork.
