About The Position

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a world-class sports and entertainment venue located in downtown Atlanta. It is home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United. Since opening in 2017, the stadium has hosted significant events like Super Bowl LIII, the College Football Playoff National Championship, MLS Cup, major concerts, and global sporting events. Recognized as one of the most innovative venues, it is the first professional sports stadium in North America to achieve LEED Platinum certification and the first globally to achieve TRUE Platinum certification for zero waste. Every event is powered by people, and associates play a critical role in delivering a welcoming and energetic environment for fans. Guest Experience Associates are the lifeblood of the stadium experience, setting the tone and defining how guests remember their visit. The Guest Experience Team serves as the frontline, acting as welcoming faces, problem solvers, and energy setters who help transform events into memorable moments. From arrival to the end of the event, this team delivers the "Welcome Home" philosophy, ensuring every fan feels valued and supported. Escalator associates control vertical transportation, focusing on the safety and directions of guests using escalators, and provide access control to various stadium areas, including back-of-house and team-affiliated areas. Elevator associates support ADA guests, provide access control to exclusive areas like the Press Box and Gullwing Club, and also control access to back-of-house and team-affiliated areas. Associates may interchange between escalator and elevator roles based on event needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able and willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and major stadium events.
• Ability to stand, walk or walk up and down stairs for extended periods of time during an event.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 75% of all major events consistently throughout the year held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, including Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, college football, concerts, etc.
• Able to work in an indoor and outdoor setting.
• Must enjoy helping others and working within a team environment.
• Proactive in seeking out positive interactions with both guests and coworkers and interested in maintaining those positive relationships.
• Must enjoy speaking and interacting with others in a warm, friendly, and respectful manner.
• Must be available to attend all necessary in-person and virtual training as a prerequisite for employment and/or working events.

Responsibilities

• Control vertical transportation throughout Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
• Ensure the safety and directions of guests using escalators.
• Provide access control to various places in the stadium.
• Know all floors of the stadium to control access to back-of-house and team-affiliated areas.
• Support ADA guests throughout the event.
• Provide access control to exclusive areas, including the Press Box and the Gullwing Club.
• Interchange and work on both escalator and elevator teams based on event needs.
