About The Position

The Guest Experience Associate supports the Pastor of Guest Experience in creating welcoming experiences for attenders, equipping volunteer teams, and preparing Guest Experience environments for weekend services. The role participates in Eagle Brook Church’s Pastoral Development Program, developing skills in pastoral ministry, leadership, and spiritual development, with the potential to become a pastor and pursue licensure at Eagle Brook Church. The position reports to the Pastor of Guest Experience and is part of Campus Ministry’s Guest Experience team. It is based in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and may be eligible for one remote workday per week. The fixed pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Workdays are Saturday–Wednesday or Sunday–Thursday, depending on the campus service schedule. Regular hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with evening hours for services, meetings, and events; the associate must be available to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed.

Requirements

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of ministry experience.
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a volunteer in a ministry setting.
• Demonstrate strong evidence of a Christ-centered life.
• Model growth in faith through Eagle Brook’s five values.
• Have excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop core Guest Experience volunteers.
• Lead and develop volunteer leaders, including Directors and Team Leads, by scheduling and facilitating training.
• Serve as a spiritual influencer and encourager to volunteers.
• Ensure Guest Experience environments are ready for weekend services.
• Execute centrally designed ministry strategies.
• Participate in pastoral development training with the purpose of becoming a licensed pastor at Eagle Brook Church.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory for the Guest Experience environment.
• Manage beverage service requests.
• Oversee bookstore merchandising.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
