About The Position

The Guest Experience Associate supports the Pastor of Guest Experience in creating welcoming and inviting experiences for attenders, building and equipping volunteer teams, and preparing and maintaining Guest Experience environments for weekend services. The position participates in Eagle Brook’s Pastoral Development Program, developing skills and practices in pastoral ministry, leadership, and spiritual development, including training toward becoming a licensed pastor at Eagle Brook Church. The role reports to the Pastor of Guest Experience and is based in Woodbury, Minnesota. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt hourly position with a fixed pay rate of $23.00. Workdays are Saturday–Wednesday or Sunday–Thursday, depending on the campus service schedule. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with evening hours for services, meetings, and events; the associate must be available when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed. The role may be eligible for one remote workday per week.

Requirements

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 1 year of ministry experience.
• Have 1 year of experience as a volunteer in a ministry setting.
• Demonstrate strong evidence of a Christ-centered life.
• Model growing in faith through Eagle Brook’s five values.
• Have excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ministry experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a ministry leader.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop core Guest Experience volunteers.
• Lead and develop volunteer leaders, including Directors and Team Leads, by scheduling and facilitating training.
• Serve as a spiritual influencer and encourager to volunteers.
• Ensure Guest Experience environments are ready for weekend services.
• Execute centrally designed ministry strategies.
• Participate in pastoral development training with the purpose of becoming a licensed pastor at Eagle Brook Church.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory for the Guest Experience environment.
• Manage beverage service requests.
• Oversee bookstore merchandising.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
