About The Position

The Guest Care Manager is responsible for managing the case management, recovery and working collaboratively across programs to ensure continuity of care. In addition, this position will ensure our guests have an established care plan and goals for recovery and timely placement with the care team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field is required. A combination of education and seven years of relatable experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Two years of previous supervisory experience are required.
  • Proficient in working in a CRM system (Clarity is highly preferred)
  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Him.
  • Faithfully upholds The Mission and your team in prayer.
  • Participates in team devotions as schedule permits.
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with the Mission’s Statement of Faith, Standard of Conduct, policies, and expectations.
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to a diverse audience, including our Mission teams, our volunteers, guests and homeless neighbors.
  • Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of experience as a Case Manager or a related role in a recovery program is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • A sound understanding of trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and develop programs under the Guest Care purview: Case management, Recovery Case Manager.
  • Work closely with the Senior and Assistant Directors to establish and implement goals for program ministry.
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines to identify individual needs to be addressed to facilitate effective program planning.
  • Maintain and improve community contacts to ensure referrals to community providers and support networks.
  • Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, including training, development, hiring, scheduling, goal setting/evaluations, and performance management (including corrective action).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, disclose limited guest information as required by outside entities.
  • Be an informed advocate in the area of homelessness, addiction, and domestic violence.
  • Prepare monthly statistical and narrative reports as required.
  • Produce and distribute schedules, maintain accurate and timely records, and ensure that all guests are logged into Clarity upon arrival at the Mission.
  • Assure the administration of urine tests and breathalyzers to program.
  • Attend and participate in Mission and departmental meetings and training.
  • Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.
