About The Position

This On-Demand Guest Advocate role is for a small format store, focusing on ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, and proper presentation on the sales floor. Team members in this role are experts in service, operations, and efficiency, proficient in various store duties including cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store appearance. The position emphasizes providing exceptional guest service by customizing experiences and anticipating needs. It offers opportunities for team members to build skills in guest service fundamentals, retail business operations, and supporting business priorities. The role is designed for individuals seeking a flexible work schedule, allowing them to pick up shifts as needed via the myTime mobile scheduling app, with a requirement to work at least one shift every four weeks and respond to contact attempts to confirm shift interest. A minimum of one shift within five months is required to maintain employment.

  • Flexibility in picking up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
  • Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts.
  • Must work at least one shift within 5 months or employment will be terminated.
  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, make eye contact, and initiate helpful interactions.
  • Assist guests in finding products and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

  • Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.
  • Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments.
  • Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing for all departments.
  • Complete scans and system audit functions for inventory accuracy.
  • Support execution of major transitions.
  • Maintain interior and exterior brand standards, including cleanliness and cart management.
  • Accurately execute all Fills (fill the floor, liability fills, guest requests, and backstock product).
  • Process all inbound deliveries using the receive application for inventory accuracy.
  • Complete all backroom weekly audits.
  • Operate power equipment if certified.
  • Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy, following equipment guidelines.
  • Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies, and report/correct hazards.
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU), maintaining compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
