About The Position
Target is seeking Seasonal Guest Advocates to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for various functions within the store, including cashiering, general merchandise, fulfillment, food and beverage, front of store attendant, style, and inbound stocking. This position offers the opportunity to gain knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business operations, and daily workload execution to support business priorities and sales goals. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build skills for a career.

Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Assist guests with purchases and provide excellent customer service.
- Stock shelves, set up displays, and ensure merchandise is accurately priced and signed.
- Manage inventory and maintain product availability on the sales floor.
- Fulfill online orders and prepare them for pickup or delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including the front of store area (cart attendant duties).
- Assist with setting up and maintaining visual merchandising presentations.
- Process and stock incoming merchandise efficiently and safely.
- Handle food and beverage items according to safety standards.
- Provide support in the style department, assisting guests with apparel and accessories.
- Adapt to current technology needs.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Resolve guest questions and issues promptly.
- Climb ladders to access merchandise.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
