About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target offer meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store. They also offer experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement. Team members will gain experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals. Target aims to be a fun and energetic environment where team members work efficiently and as a team to deliver for guests. The company values providing service that makes guests say 'I LOVE TARGET!' and focuses on stocking, setting, and selling Target products. The roles are not computer-based, Monday-through-Friday jobs, but rather busy positions that make it easy for guests to feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded, especially on weekends. Target provides training to teach new hires everything they need to know.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Act as a sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Act as advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Act as experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
