About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, offering various positions including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). Working at Target involves helping families discover the joy of everyday life through its values and culture. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles focus on providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles involve being advocates of guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles focus on operations, process, and efficiency to ensure products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career, offering knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
