About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, offering various positions including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts of operations, process and efficiency, ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. Target believes team members have meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career, providing knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
