About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). The starting hourly rate is $19.50 USD. Target aims to help families discover the joy of everyday life through its values and culture. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding expectations through guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target believes team members have meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career, providing knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements

- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
