About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Patrol Officer in Puerto Rico to provide security across a variety of industries, including factories, retail stores, shopping centers, pharmaceutical companies, and corporate campuses. Work environments and conditions may vary depending on the client site. The position offers rotating, full-time schedules and pays $11.50 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles and meet the listed education or experience requirement. A valid Puerto Rico driver's license is required; a current Puerto Rico armed license is required for armed positions. Applicants must be available for credentialing processes and training, and are subject to background checks and drug screening to the extent permitted by law.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be available for rotating schedules and weekly itineraries.
• Be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English; English is required for bilingual positions.
• Possess a valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
• Possess a current Puerto Rico armed license for armed positions.
• Have customer service skills.
• Be available for credentialing processes and training.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security and safety procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Receive and direct employees and/or visitors in reception areas according to establishment rules and assigned post orders.
