Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Takes initiative, detail oriented, and works well independently.
Good communication skills
Politeness and courteousness
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
Attention to detail

Prior security experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring KeHE facilities.
Secures premises and personnel by monitoring access points; permitting entry to employees and preventing the entry of unauthorized people.
Controls traffic by directing drivers.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains a log book with details of the names, purpose of visit, and entry and exit times of each and every individual who enters the premises.
Reports all suspicious acts happening in the premises to the local police.
Directs vehicles in and around the building and makes sure that all vehicles are safe, while inside the premises.
Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.
