Tennessee Oncology, a prominent community-based cancer care specialist, is seeking a talented and highly-motivated GU Oncology Care Coordinator. This experienced oncology nurse will utilize clinical judgment and the nursing process to coordinate care for patients with genitourinary (GU) cancers throughout their complex treatment journey. The role involves longitudinal tracking of patients from referral to survivorship or end-of-life care, acting as a central point of contact between Tennessee Oncology's medical and radiation oncology departments and external urology practices, nuclear medicine, genetics, cardio-oncology, and supportive/palliative care services. This position is crucial for bridging gaps between disparate electronic medical record systems, supporting data screening, dashboard management, and outcomes analysis for the GU service line. Key goals include reducing time to treatment, closing care gaps, minimizing avoidable hospitalizations and ED visits, and ensuring guideline-concordant, patient-centered care. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role within Tennessee Oncology’s new GU Center of Excellence, offering opportunities to build workflows, shape a growing program, and advance professionally.
