GTM Systems Engineer

LiveKit
$120,000 - $250,000

About The Position

LiveKit is seeking a GTM Systems Engineer to own the infrastructure and integration layer across the full Go-To-Market (GTM) stack, focusing on building agentic workflows that enhance the revenue engine. This role involves treating Salesforce and HubSpot as engineering systems, ensuring data integrity, and implementing robust change management. The ideal candidate will be a go-to person for technical challenges, capable of building and shipping quickly, and able to explain complex concepts clearly. This position is distinct from an outbound automation specialist role and focuses on the engineering backbone of GTM operations.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise, understanding the data model, building complex flows and automation, and treating it as an engineering system.
  • Solid HubSpot experience in a marketing context, including managing campaigns, lead generation, and the HubSpot-Salesforce sync.
  • Proven integration engineering experience using APIs, webhooks, and event streams, with the ability to handle silent failures.
  • Code-first mindset, prioritizing scripting, APIs, and CLI over UI when appropriate, with concrete examples of using code to solve GTM operational problems.
  • Experience building or extending AI agent workflows that act on GTM data, including prompts, tool calls, orchestration logic, and guardrails.
  • Strong change management practices for managing deployments in live systems.
  • Comfortable partnering directly with Sales and Marketing stakeholders, translating needs into system requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce CPQ experience (approvals, order forms, discounting rules, closed-won-to-billing path).
  • SQL and data modeling fluency; familiarity with a warehouse-centric stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, reverse ETL).
  • Experience with billing platforms (Stripe, Zuora, Maxio) and their integration with GTM systems.
  • Tendency to take on significant responsibility in group projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own Salesforce as the engineering system of record for revenue, including data model, custom objects and fields, flows and automation, validation rules, field governance, and access control.
  • Own HubSpot as the marketing system for campaigns and lead generation, and manage the HubSpot-Salesforce sync to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Build and maintain integrations across the GTM stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Clay, Common Room, billing platform, etc.).
  • Own the data flow from GTM systems to the central Data Platform, ensuring accuracy, lineage, and security.
  • Build, deploy, and extend agentic workflows (AI agents) that consume GTM data and automate operations.
  • Build and maintain observability for critical GTM systems, including dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
  • Implement proper change management across CRMs, including code reviews, documentation, and rollback paths.
  • Partner with SalesOps and Marketing to ensure effective system usage and maintain a trustworthy and accessible foundation.
  • Partner with the Billing Systems Engineer on CPQ-to-Billing workflows to automate and ensure accuracy in the closed-won-to-billing handoff.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Flexible vacation policy
