GTM Solution Architect - Microsoft
About The Position
Perficient is seeking a commercially minded GTM Solution Architect to independently own client narratives through origination, from discovery through proof-of-concept, within our Solution Shaping career family. This individual will be accountable for translating client business problems into scoped, deliverable technical solutions and for a personal share of the revenue outcome on the deals they shape. The ideal candidate brings hands-on delivery credibility, comfort carrying individual revenue accountability, and the ability to represent Perficient's technical and business credibility directly in partner conversations. Perficient's Solution Shaping practice. A career family within Service Delivery — alongside Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, and Delivery Leadership — built to bridge pre-sales technical and business strategy with go-to-market execution across Perficient's partner ecosystem, including Google Cloud, Microsoft, AWS, and Salesforce, and Databricks.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of professional experience in cloud, data, enterprise architecture, or a closely adjacent technical discipline, with meaningful time in a professional services or consulting environment
- Hands-on delivery history: personally designed and delivered technical solutions in the capability areas you will represent, not advisory-only
- Demonstrated ability to lead discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and PoC delivery independently
- Experience building solution estimates, staffing plans, and project assumptions delivery teams can execute against
- Comfort carrying individual revenue booking accountability alongside field sellers
- Proficient in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation and support pre-sales workflows
- Qualified applicants will reside near one of Perficient's offices
- Demonstrated flexibility to travel as needed to support partner, client, and business priorities
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Nice To Haves
- Partner-aligned pre-sales experience (Google Cloud, Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, or equivalent hyperscaler or platform ecosystem) preferred
- A partner-recognized certification in the relevant ecosystem preferred
- Experience contributing to practice IP: PoC assets, accelerators, or reference patterns preferred
- Industry vertical exposure in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Retail, or Automotive & Manufacturing preferred
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
Responsibilities
- Own the client narrative through origination: discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concept, independent of Senior/Lead oversight
- Translate client business problems into scoped, deliverable technical solutions independently
- Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops
- Build solution estimates, staffing plans, and PoC or demo assets that anchor the deal
- Assess solution fit against client constraints and Perficient's delivery capability
- Apply partner ecosystem architecture patterns (cloud, data, and AI platforms) to client-specific solution design
- Lead technical presales engagements: discovery, solution design workshops, and architecture reviews
- Lead RFP responses, SOW scoping, and solution estimation with sales and delivery leads
- Represent Perficient's technical and business credibility directly in partner conversations
- Co-sell alongside Perficient field sellers and FDEs, carrying personal revenue booking accountability
- Maintain billable time of 4–12 hours per week on deals personally shaped in pre-sales, not general delivery bench capacity
- Lead PoC and demo delivery showcasing Perficient's AI-first offerings
- Pursue or hold partner-recognized certifications validating solution depth
- Develop and maintain relationships with partner sales, engineering, and product teams
- Build practice IP: reusable PoC assets, accelerators, and reference patterns for the partner ecosystem
- Mentor GTM Solution Consultants on discovery, PoC delivery, and technical credibility
- Carry personal accountability for delivery fidelity to the solution as sold
- Preserve win-to-delivery credibility as the named owner of the shaped solution
- Drive long-term client relationships beyond the individual deal, sustaining credibility for future pursuits
- Deliver solution estimates and staffing plans, translating them into executable project plans
