The Role As our first in-house GTM Recruiter, you will own end-to-end recruiting for all commercial roles (Sales, Sales Ops, Customer Success, and more). This is a critical role that requires speed and operational excellence as our sales org scales. You will source and close elite GTM talent through rigorous processes, data-driven optimization, and exceptional candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who can operate full-cycle recruiting pipelines autonomously with an owner’s mindset, run multiple pipelines simultaneously, and serve as a partner to our sales leadership as they scale the organization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience recruiting for GTM roles in high-growth startup environments, ideally early stage.
  • Proven track record in both sourcing and closing top GTM talent.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience influencing hiring decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Thrives on owning processes end-to-end and balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • A proactive and effective communicator.
  • You are collaborative, organized, and efficient.
  • Eager to work in person at our NYC office full time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the GTM talent pipeline: Drive the full-cycle recruiting process for all commercial roles (Sales, Sales Ops, Customer Success, and more)
  • Source and close pivotal hires: own the candidate lifecycle from initial screen to offer.
  • Represent the Avoca brand to candidates - you will be the first contact for future sales leaders, and are responsible for pitching our culture and vision.
