About The Position

Sent is an infrastructure for sending A2P messages across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS through a unified API. Its intelligent routing model selects channels based on deliverability and cost. After closing a $12M Series A, Sent is hiring a GTM Engineer to design and build systems that power its go-to-market motion. The GTM Engineer will work across sales, marketing, and customer success, automating repetitive work and owning the go-to-market technology stack end to end—including tool selection, integrations, and the information used to execute. This is a high-ownership, early-stage role requiring prior experience shipping automations and the autonomy to build the operational backbone of a growing company.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in revenue operations, GTM engineering, sales operations, or a similar technical GTM role; startup experience is preferred.
  • Be reachable outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, for system issues or time-sensitive deals.
  • Demonstrated builder mentality, including a preference for automation and experience shipping workflows or tools that people use.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Attio, HubSpot, or Salesforce, and GTM tools for enrichment, sequencing, and marketing automation.
  • Experience with workflow and automation tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, or Make, and comfort with APIs, webhooks, and light scripting.
  • Systems thinking and the ability to understand how leads move through the funnel and identify breakdowns.
  • Clear written communication and the ability to document processes so others can follow them independently.
  • High agency, including identifying and fixing problems proactively.
  • Based in NYC.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience building AI- or LLM-powered GTM workflows, such as prospect research agents, lead scoring, or outbound personalization.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript and comfort building lightweight internal tools or API integrations.
  • Experience with usage-based or product-led SaaS models, including usage signals, expansion triggers, and PLG-to-sales handoffs.
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience selling to or supporting developers, or a genuine interest in APIs, developer tools, or the messaging/CPaaS space.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated GTM workflows for prospecting, enrichment, lead routing, outbound sequencing, and marketing-to-sales handoffs.
  • Own the GTM technology stack, including CRM, enrichment, outbound, and marketing automation tools; manage integrations and administration, and evaluate vendors.
  • Prototype and ship internal tools, scripts, and AI-powered workflows that give account executives and sales development representatives more time to sell.
  • Design and document GTM processes, including lead lifecycle stages, deal stage definitions, and renewal and expansion workflows.
  • Maintain trustworthy CRM data, accurate pipeline information, and dashboards that provide leadership visibility into pipeline, conversion, and attribution.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales and VP of Marketing to identify funnel bottlenecks and address them through process or tooling changes.
  • Build playbooks, training documents, and access workflows to onboard new GTM hires.
  • Handle ad hoc projects such as territory and compensation modeling, TAM/SAM sizing, and competitive research.
  • Keep GTM systems running and respond outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, when systems break or deals are time-sensitive.

Benefits

  • Meaningful equity with high growth potential.
  • Compensation flexibility depending on experience.
  • Top-tier medical, dental, and vision coverage, fully covered.
  • 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • NYC workspace with daily meals and unlimited snacks.
  • New MacBook Pro and Apple Studio Display.
  • Wellhub Gold or Equinox stipend.
